YouTube Festival 2023 – Stockholm
In September 2023, we, like many of our colleagues in the industry, premiered at the new event venue Banankompaniet in Frihamnen. Our first project at Banankompaniet was YouTube Festival 2023 (formerly YouTube Brandcast) on behalf of Utsikt Kommunikation AB. An exclusive event for YouTube creators, influencers and marketers with the aim of educating about the potential of marketing on YouTube.Our solution was a 150 sq m glossy matte stage with a high-resolution LED screen in the middle and tiered wings on the sides with even more LED screens. Above the screens, we hung a lighting rig with, among other things, Sharpy Plus, JDC-1 and some classic 4-lites. Festival feeling!
The sound department was also on site and solved the sound for the speakers, moderators Petter and Fanna and the evening's artists: Julia Frej, Loreen, Oscar Zia, Peg Parnevik, Jelassi and Deki Alem!

Our delivery
For this project we delivered:Sound
The sound department delivered a sound system adapted for live music and entertainment at Banankompaniet.
They also delivered sound mixing, monitor mixing, wireless microphones for speakers, moderators Fanna and Petter, and tape technology for artists Julia Frej, Loreen, Oscar Zia, Peg Parnevik, Jelassi and Deki Alem. Read more about soundLight
The lighting department delivered a rigging solution adapted to maximize the size of the stage construction, get as much LED screen as possible and still get good stage light for both conference and entertainment.
The lighting rig consisted of moving LED washes from Martin, Clay Paky Sharpy Plus and GLP JDC-1. Read more about lightVideo & LED
The Video department delivered a large high-resolution LED screen built with a 35 square meter 16:9 surface in the middle of the stage and wings on each side of the central screen in three levels.
The video department also delivered a camera production, presentation technology and image control with a Watchout media server. Read more about video & ledDecor & Set Design
The decor department delivered a podium stage of over 150 square meters with high-gloss black carpet and roller podiums for the artists.
In the adjacent premises, they also delivered bar counters, lounge furniture, makeup mirrors and additional stages for DJs. Read more about decor & set designCarpentry
