Own trucks, trailers and 3,000 m² warehouse for events and expos

Transport & Logistics

EDGE's logistics department stores equipment in a 3,000 m² high-bay warehouse in Bredden north of Stockholm. With our own trucks and partners for long-distance transport, we select the most cost-effective and reliable transport solution for each project. By consolidating deliveries from all departments into the same trucks, we reduce the number of vehicle movements per event and minimise our CO₂ footprint.
"Vans, trucks, trailers, a 3,000 m² high-bay warehouse and eight dedicated people create the conditions for our and our clients' equipment to arrive in perfect condition and on schedule"
Although most of our work takes place in the Stockholm area, we deliver solutions across Sweden, Europe and the world. Through well-established logistics processes, dedicated staff and close cooperation with international freight and transport partners, we ensure equipment arrives safely and on time – whether we are in Malmö or Madrid.

Our logistics services

Here are some examples of the services we offer in logistics:

Central warehouse in the Stockholm area of over 3,000 m²

Our logistics department is based at our office and main warehouse in Bredden just north of Stockholm. Here we store almost all our equipment since a large part of our business is based in Stockholm and central Sweden. The same site also houses our carpentry production, print workshop and a client warehouse where we handle customer materials in connection with event productions.

Transport with our own trucks and trailers

With our own fleet of trucks and trailers, we handle the majority of our deliveries with our own drivers and vehicles. When many productions are happening at the same time, we call on our partners who have strong knowledge of the specific requirements for transporting event equipment.

Long-distance transport with partners

When we need to transport equipment to events in Europe and beyond, we work with established international freight partners. We have extensive experience establishing events and expos abroad and know what challenges to expect. Our project manager and transport coordinator develop a solution with you that suits both requirements and budget.

Warehousing and handling of client materials

At our warehouse north of Stockholm, we handle client materials before, after and between events. It is often more efficient to ship event materials to us in advance – we then consolidate them in the same logistics solution as the rest of our material to your event.

Frequently asked questions about logistics and transport

What vehicles do you have in your fleet?

We have vans, trucks and trailers – including jumbo trailers for large productions. With our own drivers and vehicles, we handle the majority of deliveries to events in the Stockholm area and central Sweden. When needed, we supplement with partners who have extensive knowledge of the specific requirements for transporting event equipment.

Can you deliver to events outside Stockholm?

Yes. We deliver to events throughout Sweden and have well-established routines for longer journeys. From Malmö in the south to Umeå in the north – we plan transport in close dialogue with the project manager to ensure delivery aligns with the on-site build schedule.

Can you transport equipment to events abroad?

Yes. We have extensive experience transporting and establishing events in Europe and globally. We work with international freight and transport partners and handle customs, freight forwarding and delivery planning. Whether the event is in Amsterdam, Barcelona or Almedalen, we ensure equipment arrives safely and on time.

Can you store client equipment and materials?

Yes. Our warehouse in Bredden has a dedicated client storage area where we handle client materials before, after and between events. It is often more efficient to ship your materials to us in advance – we then consolidate them with the rest of the delivery to your event.

How do you reduce the CO₂ footprint from transport?

By consolidating deliveries from all our departments – lighting, sound, video, set design, carpentry, print – into the same trucks, we reduce the number of vehicles going to and from each event. Owning our fleet and planning consolidation internally gives us full control over route optimisation and load efficiency.

How large is your warehouse and what is stored there?

The warehouse in Bredden is 3,000 m² with a high-bay racking system that provides strong capacity for our broad equipment inventory. Here we store virtually all EDGE equipment – lighting, sound, video, set design, stage podiums, carpets and other materials. The same site also houses our carpentry workshop, print department and client storage area.

What happens if a delivery is delayed?

We always plan with contingency and communicate continuously with the project manager about any changes. Our internal fleet with our own drivers gives us strong control, and when needed we can supplement with express transport through our partners to ensure on-time delivery.

Can you handle transport of large custom-built equipment?

Yes. A large proportion of what we transport is custom-built – set designs, structures and large decorative installations. We manufacture our own road cases and transport packaging for delicate and bulky equipment, and our drivers are experienced in handling and unloading materials in complex event environments and arenas.
