Pop-up

When we build pop-up environments, it usually involves temporary pop-up stores for sales or temporarily rebuilding existing premises for a pop-up activation that will only be available for a limited time. For example, it could be a conversion of an old store in central Stockholm into a training facility with a café and conference rooms. Or why not rebuild a parking lot in central Visby into a meeting arena with areas for both networking, presentations and individual meetings?

We have extensive experience with different types of pop-up activations and our project managers will help you in dialogues with other parties in the project. This could, for example, involve communication with property managers and electricians. The project manager from EDGE also coordinates the delivery from all our departments, and ensures that your visions are realized and that we stay within the agreed budget framework.

These are the departments that are usually involved when we do pop-ups:

Sound technology

The sound department delivers various types of speaker systems and microphones to pop-up environments. These can be, for example, sound systems for background music or speech sound/callouts. The sound department also delivers sound technology to DJs, bands and live music. Our experienced sound engineers project, plan and install sound systems of all sizes and shapes.

Lighting technology

The lighting department adds light to your pop-up environment for function and design. They install spotlights and light fixtures that provide good general lighting on your surface that can be easily controlled from a control computer or tablet. They also make lighting designs with colored light that shines along the walls, gobo projections and artistic light installations.

Video technology

The Video department supplies image technology to pop-up environments in the form of screens, computers, tablets and other IT equipment. They also make presentation technology for conference rooms with projectors, projection screens, image mixers and camera solutions.

Decor & Furniture

In our decor warehouse we have a large selection of furniture in different styles and shapes. We also have a large selection of bars and counters that are well suited to pop-up environments when it comes to reception counters, bars, café environments and the like. Our decorators assemble a decorative solution with the right feel and style for your project.

Carpentry

The carpentry department helps with the preparation of the premises or area where you will hold your pop-up activation. They tear down existing equipment and build new solutions to adapt the area to your needs. They also produce specially produced interior design and furniture in wood, metal, concrete and plastic.

Print

The print department produces prints on different types of materials for different applications. They do full foiling of floors, walls and ceilings which can be a very cost-effective way to temporarily rebrand a premises. They also produce cut-out logos of various kinds which are used to communicate brands indoors and outdoors. The print department also delivers printed banners and banners, light boxes and a variety of other print products for pop-up solutions.

Project management

Our project managers have extensive experience of different types of pop-up activations in different environments. They coordinate the delivery from all our departments and ensure that your vision is communicated and realized within the agreed budget. Our project manager also helps in the dialogue with other parties who may be involved in a pop-up such as property managers, electricians and other suppliers.

Visualization

Our visualization department produces scaled and dimensioned drawings for your pop-up so that you and the project manager from Edge get a good idea of the end result well in advance before the first truck leaves our warehouse.

We can also produce almost photorealistic 3D renderings of our solutions that really give a sense of what the end result will be. This is a very good tool when decisions about solutions and budgets are to be made in several instances.

Graphic Production

Our graphics department produces graphics for both digital media and print in connection with pop-up activations. They are experts in which file formats and resolutions are best suited for different applications and help you convert graphics from existing brand guides and brand guidelines to the current project.
