This ranges from recessed lighting in carpentry productions and lighting for trade fair stands to full-scale lighting productions for events and concerts in arenas."Create drama in a stage performance, give a speaker even and smooth front light, adapt lighting for camera production, find a balance between light and projections, illuminate lounges and environments, clarify signage. For us, this is a given. We do it every day"We have designed and operated lighting for world-famous house DJs, rock bands, singer-songwriters, magicians, dance groups and virtually all other types of artists. We have the knowledge and technology to create both spectacular light shows with timecode control and refined lighting in more understated contexts.
Lighting for different occasions
Lighting for us is both function and form. We use lighting to highlight speakers, artists and products – on stages, in stands and in digital broadcasts. We also use light as a creative tool to amplify emotions and messages in performances and broadcasts. Below are a few examples of what this can mean.Polished lighting for AGMs and executive meetings
With the right choice of equipment, we create reliable and refined lighting that is ideal for sophisticated events such as executive meetings and AGMs. Our experienced lighting technicians plan their lighting solutions per assignment and are careful to find the right balance of output, function and reliability.Comprehensive functional lighting for expo and display
If you want to exhibit something at a trade fair or for a display, comprehensive lighting is a prerequisite for a good result. We light trade fair stands and entire trade fairs as well as fashion shows and product launches. In dialogue with you as the client, we select lighting fixtures and rigging that best suit your project and deliver tailor-made light unique to your event.Well-tempered camera lighting in studios and in the field
Lighting for camera productions is an assignment with many challenges. When you additionally have both a live audience and viewers watching via camera, you have raised the bar another notch. We have extensive experience of both scenarios and a set of fixtures for different functions. We are experienced in colour-matching our lighting along the Kelvin scale to sync with video producers and photographers.Dynamic light shows for entertainment and artists
The most creative part of our lighting work takes shape when we develop lighting design for shows and galas. This can involve producing a pre-programmed light show controlled by timecode, adapting a solution for a conference with entertainment, or delivering to a rider for a touring artist. The components of the lighting department
A modern lighting department has many components that together create stylish, safe and cost-effective solutions. We have a modern and well-maintained equipment inventory with fixtures and gear from reputable suppliers in the following categories:Conventional lighting
Our stock of conventional lighting includes profiles, Fresnels and floodlights of various types from suppliers such as ETC and Selecon / Strand. To control this lighting, we use dimmers from ETC and Avolites.LED lighting
We have hundreds of LED fixtures for various purposes. Wired and wireless LED battens and LED cans that can be used both as uplights and stage lights are a cost-effective lighting solution that provides significant output while drawing very little power. We also have battery-powered, wireless LED fixtures from Astera that are useful as camera lights during recordings and for creative lighting setups without any visible cabling.Moving lights
Our moving lights come from suppliers such as Martin and Ayrton. We have both wash fixtures for wide coverage with high CRI and spot fixtures that create razor-sharp images with gobos and animation wheels. With Ayrton MagicPanel fixtures, we create large pixel-mapping effects controlled from a lighting console or media server.Lighting consoles and media servers
To control our lighting rigs, we typically use a combination of digital lighting consoles from manufacturers such as Avolites or GrandMA and media servers from Dataton Watchout or Green Hippo. We create synchronised shows with lighting and video as well as pre-programmed intros when the project requires precise synchronisation. Since build schedules on show day are often tight, we have set up a visualisation studio in our own premises where we can pre-programme lighting and video sequences.Decorative lighting
To put the finishing touch on our decorative solutions, we have a large stock of fixtures for decorative lighting. Pendant fixtures, floor lamps and custom-built fixtures give our scenographies a unique look.Truss and rigging
To rig our lighting solutions, we have a large selection of truss and motors from manufacturers including Milos. Safety is a core principle for the lighting department and we always carry out load calculations for all our flown solutions.Frequently asked questions about lighting technology
What are moving lights and when do we need them?
Moving light fixtures can pan, tilt, change colour and shape their beam during a live show – all controlled from a lighting console or media server. They are used to create dynamic lighting images, follow artists on stage and build dramatic effects. For static conferences, conventional lighting is often sufficient, but whenever there is entertainment, artists or a show element, moving fixtures are the standard solution.
What is the difference between wash and spot fixtures?
Wash fixtures deliver a wide, soft light with high colour rendering (CRI) – ideal for bathing a stage or area in colour. Spot fixtures create a sharp, focused beam and can project gobos (pattern images) and animation wheels for graphic effects. A combination of wash and spot is the foundation of most professional lighting rigs.
Can you deliver lighting adapted for camera production?
Yes. Camera lighting requires specific colour temperature, even exposure and flicker-free output. We are experienced in colour-matching our lighting with video producers and photographers, and carry fixtures that perform equally well live and on camera – including battery-powered wireless LED fixtures from Astera for situations where cabling is not practical.
What is timecode control and when is it used?
Timecode control synchronises lighting consoles and media servers with an audio track or clock, so that light shows run automatically in precise time with music and video. It is typically used for pre-programmed intros, gala numbers and concert moments where precision and repeatability are critical.
What are Astera Titan Tubes and when are they the right choice?
Astera Titan Tubes are battery-powered, wireless LED tubes that can be colour-tuned freely and controlled wirelessly. They are ideal in venues where cabling is difficult or undesirable, as camera lighting during recordings, and for creative decorative installations. They are one of our most-used fixtures for digital events and hybrid productions.
Can you meet artist rider requirements for lighting?
Yes. We regularly work with artists from Sweden's top tier and have built a technical inventory with fixtures and consoles that meet most rider requirements. If an artist has specific requests for GrandMA consoles, Ayrton fixtures or other equipment, we contact them or their production company well in advance.
How do you ensure the rig is safe?
Safety is a core principle for the lighting department. We always carry out load calculations for all flown solutions and use certified truss and motors from Milos. All rigging personnel are trained and certified. We comply with applicable industry standards and safety requirements for flown lighting rigs.
Do you have a pre-programming studio for lighting?
Yes. Because build schedules on show day are often tight, we have set up a visualisation studio in our own premises. There we can pre-programme lighting and video sequences in a virtual environment and test synchronisation with media servers – saving build time on site and delivering a more reliable show.
