Broadcasts

As part of our digital event offering, we also offer solutions for live event broadcasting via web or TV. We have developed scenography, design and technical solutions for live broadcast events such as Expressen's Party Leader Debate, Allsvenskan's Stora pris and Snabba Cash - The Music Event.

Regardless of whether the event is to be broadcast live to TV via an OB bus or via a social channel such as YouTube, we have the experience, expertise and technical equipment required to make the broadcast a success.

With our design expertise, we also have the ability to design and produce a really stylish setting for your broadcast with decor, joinery, print and digital graphics.

Our broadcast services

These are the departments that are usually involved when we make broadcasts:

Sound technology

The sound department ensures that speakers and artists are heard as they should in the broadcast and for the audience in the studio. They supply wireless microphones, mixing consoles and all other audio technology needed for your broadcast.

Lighting technology

The lighting department lights the studio or venue where the broadcast takes place so that everything looks good both live and on the broadcast. The lighting department has a large stock of lighting fixtures for TV and studios at its disposal.

Video technology

The Video department supplies image surfaces to the studio and the broadcast with image controls and playout. The broadcast is then filmed with studio cameras, steadicam and a camera on a crane. The camera images are mixed and produced by our image producers before they land pre-packaged on the TV screen.

Decor

The decor department delivers furnishings, upholstery and matting to studios and broadcast facilities. They also deliver interiors for home environments, sports studios and everything in between!

Carpentry

The carpentry department builds studios and studio environments, produces specially designed sets and builds all of our studio furniture.

Print

The print department delivers all types of print for broadcast and studio productions. This can involve wrapping an existing studio or producing a cut-out logo for a podium or a backdrop. The print department cuts and prints on most materials and is used to producing solutions that both look good on camera and for the guests in the studio.

Project management

Our project managers have extensive experience in broadcasts for the web and TV. They coordinate the delivery from all our departments and ensure that your vision is communicated and realized within the agreed budget.

Visualization

Our visualization department produces scaled and dimensioned drawings for your studio environment so that you and the project manager from Edge get a good idea of the end result well in advance of the broadcast. We can also produce almost photorealistic 3D renderings of our solutions that really give a sense of how the end results will be experienced. This is a very good tool when decisions about solutions and budgets are to be made in several instances.

Graphic Production

Our graphics department produces bumpers, jingles and intros for digital meetings and broadcasts. They are experts in which file formats and resolutions are best suited for different applications and they will help you convert graphics from existing brand guides and brand guidelines to the current project. After the broadcast is completed, they also do post-editing and cutting of the recorded camera material.
