Project Management

We are convinced that our project management is what makes us stand out in the industry. Our experienced project managers help you find the right solution for your particular project and to make full use of all the resources available at EDGE.
"As a client, you always work with a project manager who guides you through the entire process – from idea to delivery. All our project managers have industry experience and specialist expertise in different areas. For support, every project manager has access to specialists across our various business areas"
We have project managers who are experts in large arena events, activations, launches, digital events, trade fairs and expos. Contact us and tell us about your project and we will pair you with a project manager who is an expert in exactly that type of meeting or event.

A project manager throughout the entire process

With us, you get a project manager who becomes your single point of contact from start to finish. From your initial idea to our completed delivery. The project manager coordinates collaboration between our departments and ensures your vision is realised with specialist expertise at every position, while you always have full visibility of every cost.

Behind every project manager is an entire organisation

The project manager works internally with our department heads, each of whom is an expert in their field. The project manager conveys your vision and requirements to all our departments and they return with complete solutions from each area.

The project manager then coordinates all these solutions into a production workflow and a budget, maintaining ongoing dialogue with you throughout. The project manager ensures that all departments are informed of changes and updates in the project.

All planning is handled in EDGE's own project management system. All information about your project is stored there and if the unlikely scenario arises that your project manager, for any reason, is unable to continue their work on your project, a colleague can step in immediately without any disruption on your end.

Ahead of show day, the project manager ensures that all personnel involved on our side are fully briefed and understand your project's parameters and solutions. The project manager also ensures that all team members have received production plans, drawings and running schedules. When needed, the project manager is also on site throughout the build, show and strike.

After the event, the project manager holds a debrief with you to review the project and delivery. All invoice documentation is compiled for your approval and all project files are archived in the project management system, ready to serve as the foundation for your next project with us.

Frequently asked questions about project management

What does an EDGE project manager do and what is included?

The project manager is your single point of contact from idea to completed delivery. This means coordinating lighting, sound, video, set design, carpentry, print and logistics internally – and communicating all changes to every department. You avoid managing ten separate contacts and can focus all your energy on the content of your event.

How do you choose which project manager suits my project?

We match the project manager to your project type and their area of expertise. We have project managers who specialise in large arena events, festival activations, launches, digital events and trade fairs and expos. Tell us about your project and we will pair you with the right person.

Can you deliver if our usual contact becomes unavailable?

Yes. All planning is handled in EDGE's own project management system, where all project information is stored and accessible. In the unlikely event that your project manager is unable to continue, a colleague can step in immediately without any disruption on your end.

Is the project manager on site during the build and show?

Yes, when the project requires it. The project manager is on site during the build, show and strike. They ensure all personnel are briefed and that production plans, drawings and running schedules are in place before the build begins.

How is the budget and cost control managed?

The project manager coordinates all departmental solutions into a single production workflow with a clear budget. You have full visibility of every cost throughout the process, and all invoice documentation is compiled and approved by you before billing.

What happens after the event?

The project manager holds a debrief with you to review the project and delivery. All project files are then archived in EDGE's project management system – ready to form the basis for your next project, which means the next engagement can start faster and more smoothly.

Can you handle international events?

Yes. EDGE has delivered events and trade fairs internationally across Europe and beyond. The project manager coordinates travel, transport, local suppliers and customs formalities in close dialogue with you as the client – with the same structure and quality standard as for projects in Sweden.

How early should we involve EDGE in the planning?

The earlier the better – but we are used to short lead times and can deliver even with a tight timeline. Early involvement gives more time for design, manufacturing and budget optimisation. We welcome contact at the idea stage so we can help shape the project from the ground up.
