Carpentry for various occasions
Our carpentry department builds and assembles solutions for a variety of different types of meetings and events. We build entire trade fair stands and manufacture various types of podiums and display products for expos. We also build backdrops and scenography for stages and custom-built DJ booths for nightclub installations. We build pop-up stores and carry out brand activations at festivals and more. Below are some examples of projects we frequently use the carpentry department for:Trade fairs
For trade fairs and expos, we manufacture custom-built trade fair stands, raised floors for clean cable management, display podiums with recessed lighting and technology, and other display products. We also build custom furniture such as bars, tables, podiums and counters. We manufacture our own packaging solutions – road cases – so that our furniture is transported safely and can be reused many times.Activations
For brand activations at festivals, political events and competitions, the carpentry department manufactures various solutions that expose brands and companies. We build rain-proof trade fair stands for outdoor use, portals and entrances to festival areas, and custom interiors for event containers and tents. We also manufacture large logos in foam board and wood – a very effective and stylish way to display a brand.Scenography
For stage solutions, the carpentry department manufactures various types of fronts, stairs and custom parts to give classic podium stages a unique expression. The department also builds set designs and backdrops including walls, podiums and custom-built DJ booths.Custom-built décor
For many of our projects, we build some form of custom-designed décor. This could be a lectern with integrated speaker technology or a hidden stage door built into a video wall.Installations
Beyond events and expos, we also carry out permanent and semi-permanent installations – interiors for offices and shops or various types of pop-up stores. Examples include Stockholmsrummet at Kulturhuset and Atlas Copco's showroom in Sickla, Stockholm. Our carpentry services
These are some of the services our carpentry department offers:Craftsmanship in wood, metal, plastic and plexiglass
Our carpenters work with many different types of wood and materials. Common wood materials include OSB, MDF, plywood and valchromat. For structural strength, we also work with metals and concrete. We do a significant amount of work in plastic and plexiglass – materials used particularly often in expos and when manufacturing logos.CAD construction drawings
Before we build anything, we produce detailed construction drawings in CAD using software such as Fusion 360, Rhinoceros and Vectorworks.Precise cuts and milling with CNC
The heart of our carpentry workshop is our computerised five-axis CNC router, which cuts and mills all wood and plastic materials with millimetre precision. With five axes, it not only makes two-dimensional cuts but can also work at height and create three-dimensional shapes and cuts.Painting and varnishing
We have our own painting shop and varnishing booth and can deliver all carpentry products painted and varnished to a very high standard. We have extensive experience matching colour codes from brand guides to the exact shades of lacquer to achieve the precise colour for your brand's expo products.Frequently asked questions about event carpentry
Can you build a complete trade fair stand?
Yes, this is one of our core deliveries. We build complete trade fair stands from scratch – with raised floors for clean cable management, walls, display podiums with recessed lighting and technology, built-in LED screens and a lacquered surface finish matched to your brand guide. We also produce our own road cases for safe transport and reuse of the stand at future trade fairs.
Can you deliver outdoor solutions that withstand weather?
Yes. We build rain-proof trade fair stands and activation areas for outdoor use – for festivals, political events and sporting competitions. We select materials and construction methods suited to weather exposure, and are experienced in rigging up and down quickly in demanding outdoor environments.
Do you use a CNC router and what can you do with it?
Yes, the heart of our carpentry workshop is our five-axis CNC router, which cuts and mills all wood and plastic materials with millimetre precision. With five axes it can not only make two-dimensional cuts but also work at height and create three-dimensional shapes – ideal for logos, complex stage fronts and precise display products.
Can you match exact brand colours from our brand guide?
Yes. We have our own painting shop and varnishing booth in the carpentry workshop and can deliver all products painted and varnished to a very high standard. We have extensive experience matching colour codes from brand guides to the exact shades of lacquer and paint – for expo products, set designs and interiors.
Can you produce CAD drawings and construction documentation?
Yes. Before we build anything, we produce detailed construction drawings in CAD using software such as Fusion 360, Rhinoceros and Vectorworks. The drawings serve as a basis for manufacturing, client approval and reproduction at the next trade fair.
Can you build custom furniture and interiors for permanent installations?
Yes. Beyond events and expos, we also deliver permanent and semi-permanent installations for offices, shops and showrooms. Examples include Stockholmsrummet at Kulturhuset and Atlas Copco's showroom in Sickla.
What materials do you work with?
We work with a wide range of materials: OSB, MDF, plywood and valchromat in wood; aluminium and other metals for high-strength structures; plexiglass and plastic for logos and display products; and foam board for large, lightweight decorations. We select materials based on function, finish and whether the product is for indoor or outdoor use.
How quickly can you produce and deliver?
We are used to short lead times and complex installations. What is achievable depends on project complexity and material choices, but we always plan production in close dialogue with the project manager to ensure delivery aligns with the on-site build schedule.
