Video is almost always a vital part of modern productions. Different types of screens to display messages, cameras to film content and control systems to display the right material on the right screen and channel at the right time. With competent staff and the right equipment for every occasion, we deliver image solutions for all different types of projects.

We have always seen image and video as something more than just a surface to communicate a message on. With large integrated image solutions as part of the scenography, you get a very powerful tool for creating look and feel in your design.

We have extensive experience in creating image solutions for all kinds of meetings, events and concerts. Everything from LED screens behind DJs to video panoramas at conferences and facade projections.

Images and video in different contexts

An video solution from EDGE can take many different forms. It can be a camera production that records in a studio for a digital broadcast or a 30m wide video panorama above a stage in the Globen. Regardless of the scope, we create our image solutions with the same accuracy and creative height. Below are some examples of solutions that our customers often request:

Panoramic video solutions for stages & events

A panorama is always an effective part of a scenography. The digital background provides an unbeatable opportunity to completely change the feel and tone of the stage with color and shape with one click. Together with a media server, the panorama becomes a digital canvas where different digital sources can be combined and interact with each other in perfect symbiosis.

A panorama is made either with an LED screen or with one or more projectors. The projectors can either be mounted to project on the same surface in a so-called double stack or next to each other to take up part of the surface in a so-called blend.

Integrated image solutions in products for expo

Trade fair stands and pop-up installations almost always contain some form of digital presentation surfaces. These can be recessed TV screens that show product videos or computers and tablets in kiosk mode where the user can navigate around a website. Or why not install a large high-resolution LED screen in your stand? It certainly attracts attention!

Image solutions for digital meetings and streaming

Digital meetings and streaming have always been a big part of EDGE's video department. Recently, the need for digital solutions has really skyrocketed. In our range, we have both fully equipped studios for recording and streaming, as well as mobile solutions where we come to you in your premises or at a location of your choice. There we then set up a complete studio for streaming/broadcast.

We have extensive experience with various digital platforms such as Teams, Zoom and Hop-in. We also have a close collaboration with the Swedish Twebcast and together with them can offer a digital platform with both interactivity and streaming in the same place.

Our video solutions include

Our stock of image equipment is constantly being renewed because the development of these products is progressing incredibly quickly. We use high-end products from quality brands and suppliers for the greatest possible reliability and performance.

Video projections

We have very bright and high-resolution projectors from, among others, Epson and the American Christie Digital. With these, we project onto front and rear projection screens. We also project onto facades, decorative elements and stage floors. If necessary, we can distort the projection to compensate for physical challenges through so-called warp. This is usually done with projector control software or a media server. Projectors are often a good alternative when it comes to image solutions due to their light weight and low cost compared to an LED screen.

LED walls

Sometimes an LED wall is the only solution. This may be due to the incredible brightness of the LED screen or the advantage of being able to have speakers standing directly in front of the screen without needing the space that rear projection requires. LED screens are also a very good option for outdoor solutions as they are available in IP-rated versions that are also very bright.

Screens with and without interactivity

In our stock we have a large number of screens for different purposes. We have smaller screens that are ideal as monitors or as recessed screens in expo and trade fair products. We also have larger screens for presentations or as camera supports in rooms that do not have space for larger projector screens. We also have a large selection of interactive touch screens that can be used for interactivity and as digital whiteboards on stage.

Camera productions

A camera is always an important element in competent video solutions, not least if you are producing digital meetings. We have camera chains that record and reproduce the image in both full HD/1080p and 4K resolution. We also offer remote-controlled PTZ cameras that are controlled by an image engineer (BING) from the tech booth. These are perfect for those occasions where it is not practical to have a physical photographer for space or financial reasons.

Image mixers and media servers

With an video mixer, we receive different image sources and control which source we show as the output source. We have smaller video mixers for simpler assignments and larger solutions with advanced signal matrices and media servers that give the operator great freedom in their creation. Often a combination of a Watchout media server and an video mixer from Barco or Blackmagic Design is used.

Preview monitor and stage clock

As a complement to our video solutions for presentations and events, we have a variety of solutions when it comes to preview monitors and countdown clocks for speakers on stage. The producer or video technician easily controls screens that are on the stage facing the speaker. There, for example, you can see the same output image that is on the big screen, the next slide in the presentation (current-next) and a timer that shows how much time is left in the running schedule for the current point in the program.

Computers for presentations and film viewing

For all our video solutions, we use computers in the premium segment to ensure the highest performance and reliability. The computers are all equipped with industry-leading software for specific purposes such as film playback, projector control, LED wall control and signal control.

Streaming and broadcasting

For digital meetings, our video department offers streaming and broadcasting services. We typically use streaming services such as Nanocosmos, Wowza and Dacast, but can also stream directly to other platforms such as Teams and Zoom. As a complement to the video stream itself, we also offer a platform for streaming and interactivity in collaboration with Swedish Twebcast.
