Digital Events

Streaming and digital meetings are something that has completely exploded in the early 2020s. Much thanks to the effects of the corona pandemic on the meetings industry. We have a long experience of digital meetings that extends to long before the pandemic, but this has of course been a focus area that we have invested a lot of resources and developed in recent years.

As part of our offering for digital meetings, we offer studio solutions, hybrid event solutions and virtual events.

Here are some examples of occasions where you can use digital meetings:

Quarterly reports and annual general meetings

Something that we really see a trend of being converted to digital is presentations of quarterly reports and annual general meetings. Our digital platform makes it easy to segment visitors with different levels of authorization and voting rights. Visitors can also ask questions, vote and much more. The platform can of course also be designed exactly according to your own wishes.

Product launches and demos

Another type of meeting that is particularly well suited to the digital format is internal or external product launches and product demos. With a pre-recorded digital broadcast, you can ensure that relevant information reaches the recipient in an understandable way. You can also publish reference materials such as PDFs, presentations and images directly in the platform while a current section of the demo is shown in the video player.

Hybrid meetings

If you want the best of both worlds, you can do something often called a hybrid meeting. A hybrid meeting is simply a meeting that has both an audience in person at a physical location and is simultaneously broadcast digitally to more visitors who participate via link. This is a very effective way to meet and you can benefit from the energy of seeing each other physically while not having to exclude anyone due to distance or finances.

These are the departments that are usually involved when we do digital events:

Sound technology

The sound department supplies microphones, mixing consoles and all sound equipment for digital broadcasts. Our sound engineers have extensive experience in sound mixing for digital media and are used to mixing both speech, video sound and live entertainment in studio environments.

Lighting technology

The lighting department supplies studio lighting, camera lighting and stage lighting for digital productions. In our lighting warehouse, we have the latest fixtures for film and video production, perfect for creating well-tempered lighting that works well both on camera and for the studio audience.

Video technology

The Video department supplies streaming equipment and camera solutions for digital meetings and live broadcasts. We have image mixers, media servers, consoles, video software and the latest image equipment required to make professional live broadcasts with high demands on quality and reliability.

Decor & Furniture

The decor department supplies scenography and studio furniture for live broadcasts and digital meetings. Our decor warehouse has a large selection of armchairs, tables, sofas and studio furniture for different themes and occasions. We also have a large stock of small decorations such as candle holders, bowls, pillows and more. Our scenographers will help you put the final touch on the studio furniture with these paraphernalia to create exactly the feeling you want to convey.

Carpentry

The Carpentry department builds specially designed studio environments and furniture to order. Let us realize your studio visions with a completely unique environment just for your digital broadcast. We produce millimetre-precise construction drawings based on your sketches or ideas so you can see exactly what the solution will look like before we start production.

Print

The print department delivers all types of print for digital meetings and events. This can involve wrapping an existing studio or producing a cut-out logo for a lectern or background. The print department cuts and prints on most materials and is used to producing solutions that both look good on camera and for the guests in the studio.

Project management

Edge project managers have extensive experience in digital meetings and events. Our project managers coordinate the delivery from all our departments and ensure that your vision is communicated and realized within the agreed budget. Our project manager also assists in the dialogue with other parties who may be involved in an activation, such as sponsor managers, festival generals and property managers.

Visualization

Our visualization department produces scaled and dimensioned drawings for your studio environment so that you and the Edge project manager get a good idea of the end result well in advance of the broadcast.

We can also produce almost photorealistic 3D renderings of our solutions that really give a sense of what the end result will be. This is a very good tool when decisions about solutions and budgets are to be made in several instances.

Graphic Production

Our graphics department produces bumpers, jingles and intros for digital meetings and broadcasts. They are experts in which file formats and resolutions are best suited for different applications and help you convert graphics from existing brand guides and brand guidelines to the current project. After the broadcast is complete, they also do post-editing and cutting of the recorded camera material.
