Festival Week 2023 at Mall of Scandinavia
In connection with Melodifestivalen 2023, we were commissioned by our friends at Eventum to design and deliver a solution for the Festival Week, which is organized by and at Westfield Mall of Scandinavia. The assignment included developing a solution for the event area above the fountain that could partly function as a stage for the competing artists in this year's Melodifestivalen. But which could also function as an area for visitors with makeup stations, lounges and sign making.
The solution was a combination of design and technology with a foundation of rope, LED screen and lights. A stage deck in several colors and levels that doubled as makeup stations. On the opposite side of the stage, we were met with a combined lounge area. DJ stage and table for sign making. Everything in Mello's pastel colors, of course!

Our delivery
To this project we delivered:SoundThe sound department delivered a PA system for live performances, wireless microphones, DJ equipment and sound mixing. During the week, the sound department handled the sound for several Mello artists, including Jon Henrik Fjällgren, Smash Into Pieces and Panetoz, among others.
LightThe lighting department built an arched truss structure that served as both design and rigging for video and lighting. The truss structure was used to hang moving lights with fixtures such as Rush MH6 and Ayrton Magicpanel 602, as well as a number of our own manufactured Edgetron fixtures.
VideoThe Video department delivered a 4m wide, 3.5m high, high-resolution LED screen to the stage in the installation. The LED screen was also supplied with image mix, playout and technical staff.
When SVT and Bolibompadraken were visiting, the image department also supplemented it with support screens so that guests could watch the live broadcast on SVT.

For the flower installations, we got some help from our friends at Letsdecor.se
