Sandvik 150th anniversary at Göransson Arena

Ahead of Sandvik's 150th anniversary, we were commissioned by PS Occasion to design and deliver a complete design and technology solution for the anniversary at Göransson Arena in Sandviken.

The assignment included a solution for the anniversary party itself at the arena, which was a tailor-made show with artists such as Jerry Williams, Måns Zelmerlöw, Lotta Engberg, Anders Berglund and others. The show was shown five nights in a row to accommodate all of Sandvik's 10,000 employees.

In addition to the solution for the anniversary party, we also delivered solutions to Framtidsdagarna, which was a large exhibition in the entire arena where all the different applications and industries that Sandvik supplies were showcased.

Our delivery

To this project we delivered:
SoundThe sound department delivered PA systems, sound mixing, monitor mixing, tape technology and sound technology for the miking of the symphony orchestra on the main stage.

In the Timeline Room, they also delivered a smaller sound system for a live band and DJ equipment for DJs.

LightThe lighting department supplied the wire, rigging and fixtures for both the stage lighting and all the ambient lighting.

VideoThe Video department delivered a visual solution with five rear-projected screens on stage, as well as all equipment for playout and video mixing. In addition, a complete camera solution with steadicam was also delivered.

DecorThe decor department delivered the massive 150 square meter stage floor with stairs and different levels. For the main stage, they also delivered stage fronts, stage fences and a stage carpet in dark blue plastic material.

For the Timeline Room, they delivered another stage deck and a 360 bar solution with our own modular bar counters.

PrintThe print department delivered printed banners for the branding outside the entrance as well as the over 100 m long and five meter high banner that framed the Timeline Room.
