Digital Events
Streaming and digital meetings exploded in the early 2020s, largely due to the effects of the pandemic on the meetings industry. We have extensive experience of digital meetings that stretches back well before the pandemic, but this has naturally been a focus area in which we have invested heavily and developed significantly in recent years. As part of our offering for digital meetings, we offer studio solutions, hybrid event solutions and virtual events.
Digital meetings for different occasions
Here are some examples of occasions where digital meetings are used:Quarterly reports and general meetings
Presentations of quarterly reports and general meetings are a clear trend towards digital format. Our digital platform makes it easy to segment participants with different authorisation levels and voting rights. Participants can ask questions, vote and access reference materials such as PDFs and presentations directly in the platform.Product launches and demos
Product launches and demos are particularly well suited to the digital format. With a pre-recorded digital broadcast, you can ensure that relevant information reaches the recipient clearly, and publish reference materials directly in the platform alongside relevant segments in the broadcast.Hybrid meetings
For the best of both worlds, a hybrid meeting combines a physical audience on site with a digital audience participating via link simultaneously. The energy of meeting in person is combined with the ability to reach everyone, regardless of distance or budget. Our services for digital meetings and events

Frequently asked questions about digital events
What is the difference between a digital event, a hybrid event and a virtual event?
A digital event is broadcast exclusively to an audience participating via link – no physical attendees on site. A hybrid event has both a physical audience and a digital audience participating via link simultaneously. A virtual event is a fully digital experience with interactive environments, networking opportunities and content that visitors navigate through on a digital platform.
Can you deliver a complete studio with set design, lighting, sound and streaming?
Yes. EDGE delivers complete studio productions under one roof – set design, studio lighting, cameras, audio mixing, streaming and motion graphics. We can use existing event venues such as Studio Flex and Studio Ett in Strawberry Fields at Quality Hotel™ Strawberry Arena, or build a fully custom studio in any venue.
Can you deliver a digital platform for quarterly reports and voting?
Yes. Our digital platform makes it easy to segment participants with different authorisation levels and voting rights – practical for quarterly reports and general meetings. Participants can ask questions, vote in real time and access reference materials such as PDFs and presentations directly in the platform.
Can you produce a pre-recorded broadcast that looks live?
Yes. Pre-recorded material gives full control over the end result and eliminates the risk of technical issues during the broadcast. We produce, record, edit and broadcast the material via the platform at the right time. Pre-recorded material can also be seamlessly combined with live segments in the same broadcast.
Can you produce a 3D rendering of the studio environment before it is built?
Yes. Our visualisation department produces to-scale drawings and photorealistic 3D renderings of the studio environment before production starts – an effective tool when design and budget decisions need to be approved across multiple levels.
What streaming quality can you deliver?
We deliver streaming up to 4K with professional video mixing, redundant data connections and backup solutions for critical parts of the signal chain. Our video department handles streaming equipment, video mixers, media servers and camera solutions adapted to the quality and reliability demands of professional live broadcasts.
Can you produce motion graphics and content for the broadcast?
Yes. Our content and graphics department produces bumpers, jingles and intros optimised for the digital broadcast's format and platform. They help convert existing brand guides to the right file formats and resolutions, and handle post-editing and cutting of recorded camera material after the broadcast.
Can you deliver studio lighting that looks good both for the studio audience and on camera?
Yes, and it is one of the key differences from standard event lighting. Studio lighting for digital events requires the right colour temperature, soft light character and good shadow detail for the camera – while also feeling welcoming and natural for any participants in the studio. Our lighting department has the latest film and video fixtures and extensive experience balancing these requirements.
