We have extensive experience of different types of pop-up activations

Pop-up

When we build pop-up environments it usually involves temporary pop-up stores for sales or temporarily converting existing premises for a pop-up activation available for a limited time. For example, it could be the conversion of an old store in central Stockholm into a training facility with a café and conference rooms. Or why not rebuild a car park in central Visby into a meeting arena with areas for networking, presentations and individual meetings?

We have extensive experience of different types of pop-up activations and our project managers help you in dialogue with other parties in the project. This can for example involve communication with property managers and electricians. The project manager from EDGE coordinates the delivery from all our departments and ensures that your visions are realised within the agreed budget.

Frequently asked questions about pop-up activations

Can you convert an existing premises into a pop-up store or activation space?

Yes. Our carpentry workshop removes existing fixtures and builds new solutions to adapt the space to the pop-up's needs. Our print department vinyl-wraps floors, walls and ceilings for fast and cost-effective rebranding. We manage the entire transformation from original premises to finished pop-up environment.

Can you deliver a pop-up outdoors at a car park or festival site?

Yes. We have built pop-up environments on car parks, at golf tournaments and at festivals. The project manager handles contact with the property owner, power supplier and any permits required. We supply mobile power solutions, weatherproofed lighting and robust equipment adapted to outdoor conditions.

How quickly can you strip and restore premises after the pop-up period?

Strip-out and reinstatement time depends on the scope of the conversion and the venue's requirements. We plan the move-in and move-out in detail with the property owner and coordinate all suppliers to minimise time in the premises. All vinyl wrapping is reversible and leaves no marks on walls and floors.

Can you integrate LED screens and presentation technology into the pop-up environment?

Yes. Our video department delivers screens, projectors, video mixers and all IT equipment – computers, tablets and network solutions – integrated into the pop-up environment. We also deliver camera solutions for presentation rooms and conference areas.

Can you brand the pop-up premises with vinyl wrapping and print?

Yes. Our print department delivers full vinyl wraps for floors, walls and ceilings – a cost-effective way to temporarily rebrand a premises. We also produce cut-out logos, printed banners and light boxes for indoor and outdoor use.

Can you deliver lighting and atmospheric solutions for the pop-up environment?

Yes. Our lighting department provides lighting for both function and design – from spotlights and general lighting controllable from a tablet to colour ambient lighting along the walls, gobo projections and artistic light installations. We dimension the solution to the venue's conditions and the pop-up's desired atmosphere.

Can you supply furniture and interior design for the pop-up store?

Yes. Our décor department has a large stock of furniture in different styles and shapes – tables, sofas, armchairs, bars, counters and display modules – suited to pop-up stores and activation spaces. Our carpentry workshop produces custom furniture and interior elements in wood, metal, concrete and plastic when the standard range is not sufficient.

Can you produce a 3D rendering of the pop-up environment before production starts?

Yes. Our visualisation department produces to-scale floor plans and photorealistic 3D renderings of the pop-up environment well in advance of production – effective decision-making material when design and budget need to be approved across multiple levels and a good way to align all involved parties on the vision.
