Snabba Cash – The Music Event

In spring 2021, the Netflix series Snabba Cash – based on Jens Lapidus' books of the same name – launched to immediate success. The music featured in the episodes drew widespread attention, leading Netflix to commission a special episode with live performances by the artists whose tracks appear in the series.

The event agency Le Pacte, commissioned to produce the episode, chose to record it in our Studio Flex at Quality Hotel™ Strawberry Arena.

Our assignment was to handle the recording, deliver audio technology for all the artists' needs, and design and operate lighting and video for: Mwuana, Timbuktu, Stor, Linda Pira, Silvana Imam, Erik Lundin, Lilla Namo and Greekazo & 1.Cuz.

Our delivery

For this project we delivered:

  • Sound

    The existing Studio Flex audio setup was supplemented with monitors, in-ear systems, additional wireless microphones and a monitor engineer handling artist foldback during the recording. Read more about sound

  • Light

    To create six distinct lighting setups for the different artists, around 30 moving floor fixtures and 48 Astera Titan Tubes were added. All lighting shows were SMPTE-timecoded to ensure full sync with the recording. Read more about light
