Goldwell Global Zoom 2016

When Goldwell gathered over 3,000 hairdressers and stylists in Stockholm for its international event Global Zoom 2016, we were tasked with developing design and technical solutions for all parts of the event.

Global Zoom is a competition where hairdressers and stylists from around the world come together for a two-day event to compete for prestigious prizes in hairstyling.

At Stockholmsmässan, a large competition area was built with hairdressing stations, lounges, an exhibition and a stage for training and clinics.

At Avicii Arena, a large stage with a massive technical setup was built for the hair show and awards ceremony. The stage was placed in the centre of the floor with audience on the floor and up in the stands. At the back of the same stage, a nightclub for all 3,000 visitors was built for the after-party.

Our delivery

For this project we delivered:

  • Sound

    PA systems, wireless microphones, audio mixing and technical crew for the main stage at Avicii Arena, the nightclub with DJ Simon Matsuyama and the stage in Victoriahallen at Stockholmsmässan. Read more about sound

    A lighting rig with over 300 moving fixtures for the show at Avicii Arena, an almost equally large rig for the nightclub, plus lighting for the competition areas, stage, exhibition area and lounges at Stockholmsmässan. Read more about light

  • Video & LED

    LED screens and projected surfaces for the stages at Avicii Arena and Stockholmsmässan. Video mixing, playout, camera solutions and technical crew for all stages. Read more about video & led

  • Decor & Set Design

    Stage decking, carpeting, room draping with fabric and stage furniture for all stages and the nightclub at Avicii Arena. Multiple large lounges at Stockholmsmässan using our own furniture series for bars and seating. Read more about decor & set design

  • Carpentry

    Carpentry for stages and lounges, plus construction of the exhibition and trade fair environments at Stockholmsmässan. Read more about carpentry

  • Print

    Vinyl wraps for photo walls, bars and display furniture in the exhibition area, plus large vinyl wraps for photo walls and entrances. Read more about print
