Tele2 Arena
With space for 40,000 visitors in concert mode, Tele2 Arena is one of Sweden's largest arenas. Since its inauguration in 2013, the arena has been the venue for a number of world-class artists and major sporting events, and in 2014 the arena won the "Arena of the Year" award. We have built productions at Tele2 since 2014, and the arrangements have been varied to say the least. Several times we have helped Tele2 ourselves with their Tele2 Awards, which is a massive staff party with a mingle and party in half the arena and a seated dinner for 2,000 guests with artists and entertainment in the other half.
We have also helped Daniel Wellington build an exclusive nightclub for 300 guests in the middle of the floor of the arena. The walls of the nightclub consisted of large projected video surfaces, and in the DJ booth Sebastian Ingrosso himself provided the music. Talk about exclusive!
We have also done PWC's "Tur-spelen" at Tele2 Arena. We have done large and small corporate events, trade fairs and everything in between. Are you thinking about doing an event at Tele2 Arena? Contact us and we will tell you how we usually do it!
What we can offer for your event at Tele2 Arena
Here we have divided up the services that we usually offer to customers who are going to organize events at Tele2 Arena.Sound technology
Regardless of whether you are doing a concert for 40,000 visitors, a corporate event or a small lecture with "silent meetings" technology, good sound is always equally important. We have extensive experience in delivering professional sound solutions in both small and large arenas, and Tele2 Arena is no exception. For the productions we have built in Tele2 Arena, we have supplied sound to artists such as Klara Hammarström, Moneybrother, Miriam Bryant, Icona Pop, Sebastian Ingrosso, Ola Salo, Victor Leksell and Linnea Henriksson.Lighting technology
We usually say that light is both function and form, and that is certainly true at Tele2 Arena. The arena is equipped with a massive lighting rig to illuminate a sporting event, but if you want to create a slightly more atmospheric lighting for a dinner or party, you need to rig it up specifically for the event. We plan the lighting of your event from start to finish. We draw up a design for you to approve, then we produce power and weight calculations and check with the arena so that everything is in order and finally we make sure that the lighting solution gets up and down the arena in a cost-effective and safe way. All you have to do is experience it on site!
Rigging
With its 42 m ceiling height between the artificial turf and the lowest ceiling beam, it is something of a challenge to hang things from the ceiling at Tele2 Arena. Whether it is speakers, lights, video screens or decor. With our experience, we design solutions that are both stylish and functional, but can also be rigged in a safe and economically reasonable way.To do the actual rigging on the ceiling, we work closely with one of Sweden's absolute best rigging companies, Scandinavian Rigging Service. Together, we make a plan for everything that needs to be hung and ensure that it both hangs securely, but also comes up and down efficiently.
Image technology
A large arena usually means large image surfaces. Or many. It can also mean a small, but ultra-sharp and high-resolution screen for a management meeting with ten participants in the middle of the piste. Regardless of the solution, we have screens that do the job. We have LED screens, projection surfaces, projectors and TV screens. For the screens, we have image mixers, media servers, presentation equipment and everything needed to deliver professional image solutions. But in addition to all the technology, we have above all a fantastic group of experienced technicians who both rig, tear down and run our solutions at Tele2 Arena. With them, you can feel 100% safe in the technical bridge.
Decoration
In large arenas, the decor also tends to be somewhat larger than usual. A small entrance mat for guests will be several hundred square meters in size and some bollards will be around thirty to reach up along the entrance through the crocodile gap.The decoration department delivers carpeting, rugs, furnishings and decor for events at Tele2 Arena. They build stages in levels, build makeup stations, gaming stations, bars and lounge environments. Why not let half the arena be a large urban environment and call it Tele2 City? We've done that before!
The print department makes our solutions more customized by putting styles and logos on decor, walls and ceilings!
Graphics
With large screens and print surfaces, it is incredibly important to have good image material and print originals. Our graphics department produces new graphic material for events and adapts existing material to the event's specific dimensions and resolution requirements. Let us help you get the most out of your event's screen and print solutions. Our graphic designers have extensive experience working with graphic material for events, and once the material is produced, they work closely with our image technicians and print assemblers who assemble and run the material on site. This saves both time and money!Project management
Holding events in large arenas can really be a challenge. There are large areas and many things to take into account that may not be as obvious as with smaller productions. Our project managers have extensive experience working in large arenas and coordinate our delivery to you in consultation with the arena. They are there as a sounding board for the event and once in place they will be your point of contact for the delivery of the entire production, including both design and technology.Transport & Logistics
The transport department ensures that all our goods and materials arrive to and from the arena in a safe and cost-effective manner. They set up a logistics schedule and ensure that the right equipment is in place at the right time during set-up and break-down to avoid bottlenecks and to keep each department's working hours to a minimum. With a fleet of our own trucks and trailers, we have the opportunity to coordinate deliveries from our different departments, thus keeping our CO2 footprint down and saving the environment!Visualization
Large events place great demands on all levels. That's why it's extra important that everyone involved has the same goal and agrees on what the end result should be. Our visualization department produces scaled 3D sketches and floor plans that you and our project manager review before the event and ensure that all details are in order. After this, our project manager takes the same drawings and reviews them with the arena and other suppliers so that everyone's needs are met with power, dimensions and escape routes.Pre-programming
When you do events at arenas like Tele2 Arena, a lot has to happen in a short time. Materials have to be delivered, rigging points have to be set, technology has to be rigged up in the ceiling before the stage and decor can be built on the floor. Often all of this has to happen the day before the event and that rarely leaves much time to rehearse and test-run the material. That's why it can be a good idea to pre-program your material and its execution with our technicians in our visualization studio. We build the entire event in a 3D environment and connect our lightbox and media servers to the same environment. Together with our technicians, you can then load your films and presentations into our equipment and test drive and pre-program the entire event virtually in the 3D environment.
When the show is set up correctly, we pack up our equipment and bring it to the event and once there, we play the same show again, but this time with the actual rig in place. This saves an incredible amount of time and provides unique opportunities to create fantastic solutions without having to rent the arena for more days than is required for the event. Smart!
