Hotel At Six – an exclusive event venue in the middle of central Stockholm
At Hotel At Six in central Stockholm there is an exclusive conference and event facility of 3,000 sqm with the two event venues Small and Large in the centre. Large is a fully-equipped event space for conferences, dinners and parties with a great deal of existing technology, including a 12×3 m 8K LED screen controlled by a Watchout media server, a competent sound system and lighting.Event Small is located right next door and, thanks to a sliding wall, can both become part of Large and function as a separate room. Small has a 4 m ceiling height and large floor-to-ceiling windows, making it ideal as a pre-event reception, after-party space, greenroom, breakout or a standalone part of the event.
Outside the event venues Small and Large is a meeting square called Social. Here you can have guests mingling with or without food, frame the space with a small trade show or run the after-party here and transform the square into a nightclub.

The house has an excellent sound system with tops, subwoofers, wireless and a mixer. We typically supplement with more speakers if the event or any artists require it, additional wireless microphones and live band equipment. Sometimes we upgrade to a more advanced mixing console and almost always we bring our own sound engineers who work well as a team alongside our other technicians.Lighting technology
Lighting is both function and form. There is a competent lighting solution on site to illuminate the stage that works perfectly well, but if you want to be a little creative you typically need to supplement it. We usually add some moving lights and sometimes supplement with a lighting installation on the sides of the LED screen. We often also do a great deal of ambient lighting with LED fixtures that add colour to the surfaces.Video technology
On the stage in Large there is a 12×3 m 8K LED screen controlled by a Watchout media server installed by the house. This solution is a very good foundation to build on. We typically supplement with presentation computers, camera solutions, preview screens and video mixers.Décor
In terms of décor, we would probably go so far as to say we have produced the most ambitious design and décor installations ever done at Hotel At Six. Everything from custom-building trade show modules for exhibitions in Large and cladding the entire stage in plywood, to building a completely new wall between Large and Social perfectly sized for a specific guest count.We have done most of it and often within very tight build and breakdown windows because the venue is so popular and frequently booked. Carpentry
Where the décor department ends, the carpentry workshop takes over. They produce everything that is not in our décor stock. Of all the design and décor solutions we have delivered to Hotel At Six, it is the carpentry workshop that has been responsible for the majority of all custom production.Content & Graphics
A large, high-resolution LED screen is only as good as the content you show on it. Our content and graphics department has produced material for several events at Hotel At Six – all with precise pixel dimensions matched to the screen specifications, so that the video technicians can run the material seamlessly on site.Project management

Working closely with your event's project manager, our visualisation department produces scaled drawings and 3D visualisations of our solution that you can review long before the first truck leaves our warehouse. This ensures we all share a common picture of what will happen on site.Pre-programming
In popular venues where on-site time is limited, it is a good idea to pre-programme your video and lighting sequences in advance. At our pre-programming studio in Sollentuna, you can work together with our operating technicians to load and run through all presentations and films in peace and quiet. What is the difference between Large, Small and Social and how are they combined?
Event Large is the main venue with capacity for up to 300 guests and an existing LED screen. Event Small is an adjacent space with a 4 m ceiling that can be opened up to Large via a sliding wall, giving a combined capacity of 400 guests – or used separately as a pre-party space, greenroom or breakout. Social is the meeting square outside, ideal for mingling, trade shows or after-parties.
How big is the LED screen in Large and how is it controlled?
The LED screen on the stage in Large is 12 × 3 m and 8K resolution. It is controlled by a Watchout media server installed by the hotel. This is an excellent foundation – we supplement with presentation computers, a video mixer, preview screens and camera solutions to build a complete video production.
Can the stage and screen in Large be rebuilt or customised?
Yes, and we have done exactly that. We have clad the entire stage and the sides of the LED screen in plywood to give the venue a completely different look. We have also built new walls, custom-designed furniture and complete set designs that transform Large into something unique for each event.
Can a live band or DJ perform at Hotel At Six?
Yes. The existing sound system is excellent for speech and conference use, but for a live band or DJ we supplement with a more powerful system. We handle live band equipment, DJ equipment and stage sound, and ensure the audio production suits the acoustic characteristics of the venue.
How does logistics work for bringing materials into Hotel At Six?
Hotel At Six is in central Stockholm at Brunkebergstorg, which means logistics require more planning than at venues in less central locations. We have managed load-in and load-out at At Six many times and are well versed in the specific challenges and time constraints. We always plan a detailed transport schedule in advance.
How long does it take to build an event at Hotel At Six?
The venue is very popular and often booked with short margins between events. Build times tend to be tight and require careful planning. We have extensive experience with exactly this and always optimise the build schedule to deliver everything without compromising quality. Pre-programming video and lighting at our studio in Sollentuna is especially valuable here.

Yes, it works very well. The LED screen and Watchout server are a strong foundation. We supplement with cameras, a video mixer, encoder and streaming. The Social area or Small can be used to build a parallel studio environment for panels or a hybrid format while a live event runs simultaneously in Large.
