Stockholm Waterfront

The Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel in central Stockholm is home to the Stockholm Waterfront meeting facility. With a variety of conference and event venues, Waterfront is very popular for hosting events. We have delivered technology and design to events at Waterfront with high frequency since the day it opened and continue to do so today. We have done trade fairs, conferences, concerts, dinners, parties and often a combination of all five.

Congress Hall A1 has a ceiling height of 14 m, a floor area of 1200 m2, a retractable grandstand for 1500 guests, an existing technical solution with three large screens, an existing sound system and a large lighting rig with moving lights.

Above A1, the congress hall continues up with a b-grandstand to conference rooms A2-A4 which can accommodate another 1500 guests. This room can be divided with a wall to A1 to create a stand-alone room for 1,500 guests, but can also be divided into itself to create three separate rooms that can accommodate approximately 500 guests each. Up here, there is also a ready-made technical solution installed with a screen, sound and lighting in each part.

The multi-function area M1 borders the congress hall and, thanks to a retractable wall, can add another 1,000 square meters to the floor area in A1. Inside, the ceiling height is 6.5 m and here too there is an existing lighting rig that is a good starting point for a technical solution.

Two floors down from A1 and M1, you will find floor 2 with the rooms C1, C2 and C3. Three smaller banquet halls in a row that can be used as one large room, or divided into two or three parts. Down here, it's a great place to hold a conference, dinner, streaming studios or why not a trade fair?

In addition to the above-mentioned premises, Stockholm Waterfront also has fantastic bars on the fourth and fifth floors. Both BAR4 and BAR5 have panoramic windows that provide a fantastic view of the City Hall and are ideal for mingling, AW and after-parties. Or why not a breakout stage?

What we can offer for your event at Stockholm Waterfront

Here we have broken down the services that we usually offer to customers who are going to organize events at Stockholm Waterfront.

Sound technology

Waterfront has competent sound systems installed in all of its premises. From a proper line array system in A1 to ceiling speakers for background music in the foyers, BAR4 and BAR5. However, depending on what your event requires, these systems may need to be upgraded or supplemented.

We usually supplement the line array system in A1 with extra bass speakers, sound mixers, wireless microphones, DJ equipment, band technology and our own sound engineers. In other venues, it is often a matter of adding an entire system on those occasions when you want to do something sound-technically that the existing systems were not intended for. Such as having a live band or DJ in BAR4/BAR5 or in M1.

Lighting technology

Most of Waterfront's venues are also equipped with competent lighting solutions from the start. In A1 there are ropes mounted on motors that can be easily hoisted up or down depending on your wishes. In these ropes there are about 20 movable fixtures that work perfectly as a back and front light for a stage and ambient light.

In the neighboring room M1 there is a pipe system in the ceiling for rigging and in this there are another 20 movable fixtures mounted to quickly create an ambient light or light a trade fair.

Our lighting solutions at Waterfront usually include light for stages and scenographies, more ambient light, additions to existing lighting rigs and above all our own lighting technicians.

Image technology

Just like with sound and light, Waterfront also has a good image technology solution from the ground up. In venue A1 there are three large projected screens and in the upper part of the stands A2-A4, which can be used as a separate venue, there are three more large screens. The C venues are also equipped with screens in their basic design.

Our image technology solutions at Waterfront almost always start from replacing the actual control of the screens with a more advanced image mixer or media server. For this, we often bring a camera solution and presentation equipment with preview monitors, clickers and driving computers for presentations and films.

We also usually add screens under the Waterfront's existing screens. For example, there could be more screens between and next to the ones that hang, one or more large LED screens around the stage or why not a large 30 m wide video panorama that takes up the entire stage wall? Here, the bar sets
