Guldägget 2023

Guldägget is Sweden's largest and oldest competition in creative communication. Each year, the Swedish Communications Agencies (KOMM) brings together the country's advertising agencies for an evening of awards, celebration and networking. Prizes are awarded in categories including Activation, Advertising and Digital.

In 2023, we were again entrusted by Eventum to deliver design and a technical solution for the gala at Stockholm Waterfront.

Our solution was a V-shaped stage clad in carpentry with a back wall of high-resolution LED screen. Above and to the sides of the LED screens, we extended the design with our Edgetron fixtures – both as straight lines and as free-floating squares.

Above the stage, we supplemented the venue's projection surfaces with two new surfaces in the centre, below which we added a lighting rig with fixtures from SGM and Clay Paky.

We also delivered a camera setup with studio cameras, Steadicam and a crane camera, plus an audio solution for the gala and the live performance with Zikai.

Our delivery

For this project we delivered:

  • Sound

    The Waterfront's speaker system was supplemented with subwoofers, wireless microphones, audio mixing, dedicated sound engineers and live band equipment for the live performance with Zikai. Read more about sound

    The venue's lighting rig was supplemented with additional moving lights, extra front lighting and our own Edgetron fixtures. Read more about light

  • Video & LED

    LED walls on stage, camera production, video mixing and a Watchout media server with dedicated crew. Read more about video & led

  • Decor & Set Design

    Stage platforms for the stage deck, carpeted with a parquet-imitation finish. Read more about decor & set design

  • Carpentry

    Substantial staircases on either side of and in front of the LED screens were produced in the carpentry workshop. Read more about carpentry

  • Print

    Vinyl wraps in entrances and surrounding areas, plus floor vinyl wrap for the stage. Read more about print
