Quality Hotel™ Strawberry Arena – O2 and Strawberry Fields
Just north of Stockholm and right next to Strawberry Arena is Quality Hotel™ Strawberry Arena with its large event venue Strawberry Fields and the slightly smaller venue O2 one floor up.Strawberry Fields is a perfect event venue for most events with its 2,000 sqm and eight metres of ceiling height. Add the fact that there is plenty of power, an existing technology rig, the ability to divide the venue into five soundproofed rooms and external vehicle access, and you have a real winner. In Strawberry Fields we have held executive meetings, trade shows, studios, dinners, parties and after-parties. It works for everything!
One floor up is the venue O2. A slightly smaller event venue than Strawberry Fields, but it can hardly be called small with its 413 sqm and five metres of ceiling height. O2 also has good access to power, existing technology and the ability to divide the venue into two soundproofed halves.
Digital studios during the Covid-19 pandemic
During the restrictions of the Covid-19 pandemic, we established two studios for digital events in Strawberry Fields in collaboration with Quality Hotel™ Strawberry Arena: Studio Ett and Studio Flex. Over the course of almost two years, we produced over 150 broadcasts from our studios and during this time we got to know these venues really well. Today we are back to producing "regular" events at Quality Hotel™ Strawberry Arena, but we don't think we are overstating it when we call ourselves experts in producing events here.Key facts about the venues

Here we have set out the services we typically offer to clients organising events at Quality Hotel™ Strawberry Arena.Sound technology
Both Strawberry Fields and O2 have existing sound systems that work perfectly for simpler speeches and conferences and as supplementary audio for a larger system. If you want a stronger sound for your conference or are combining the conference with dinner and entertainment, we recommend adding a larger system.We have delivered a wide range of sound solutions in both venues and typically supplement with a line-array system, audio mixer, wireless microphones, live band equipment, DJ equipment and our own sound engineer.
Lighting technology
Strawberry Fields, with its high ceiling and grid of ceiling beams, has excellent conditions for beautiful lighting designs. The venue also has approximately 50 LED fixtures already installed in the ceiling, saving considerable work if you want to wash the entire venue in colour for an ambient lighting setup.Our lighting solutions in Strawberry have taken many forms, but we typically supplement with stage lighting, set design lighting and atmospheric lighting along the walls and in the entrance.
O2 also has good rigging opportunities with a system of raw pipes in the ceiling, along with existing front lighting for the stage – a solid starting point.
Video technology
Strawberry Fields also has a strong foundation for video technology with projectors and projection screens mounted in each of the sections the venue can be divided into. Larger stage setups often require an additional primary display, but the existing surfaces work excellently as support screens for camera feeds so that all guests can see clearly.In O2, there are two projectors and screens that address each half of the room, or function as a two-screen solution when the full room is open.
Décor
The décor department typically supplies stages, carpeting, furniture and fabrics for events at Strawberry Fields and O2. This can mean a large stage along the full length of the venue, lounges, bleachers, entrance portals or even a complete kitchen backdrop for a TV studio.Carpentry
The carpentry workshop produces everything the décor department does not have in stock. This could be a detail like hard stage fronts or a custom staircase, or something more complex like a suspended ceiling over the stage or a lounge.We have done extensive carpentry work in both Strawberry Fields and O2: bespoke studio environments, custom scenography walls, entrance portals, suspended ceilings and bleachers.
Content & Graphics
Whether you use only the existing screen solutions or build a new stage with a 200 sqm high-resolution LED wall, you always need excellent content to display. Our content and graphics department produces new and adapts existing graphic material, presentations and films to fit the current screen solution – delivering everything in the right format and resolution to our video technicians on site.Project management
After over 200 projects at Quality Hotel™ Strawberry Arena, our project managers have an excellent command of the venue. They coordinate delivery across all our departments and ensure the right equipment and personnel are on site at exactly the right time. Before and during the event, they are your sounding board and help make your event a success.Transport & Logistics
The logistics department ensures all materials needed for your event arrive and depart at exactly the right time. Working closely with our project managers, they create a carefully planned transport schedule to avoid bottlenecks during load-in or load-out. Have bulky items you want to bring to your event? Whether your event is large or small, in Strawberry Fields or O2, a shared vision is always essential. Our visualisation department has detailed knowledge of both venues and produces rigging drawings, floor plans and 3D sketches – everything needed to ensure that everyone involved has a common picture, from your team and ours to the venue and catering.Pre-programming
During the build and run, time margins are typically tight. To save time on site and create a calmer working environment, it is a good idea to pre-programme the run before the event builds. At our pre-programming studio in Sollentuna, you can work with our technicians to load all presentations and films and go through the entire run flow in peace and quiet.Frequently asked questions about events at Quality Hotel™ Strawberry Arena
Can a car or large item be driven into Strawberry Fields?
Yes. Strawberry Fields has external access with a driveable entrance that allows vehicles to be driven directly onto the floor. We have driven in cars, boats and demo stations for trade shows and product launches. This is one of the venue's strongest advantages compared to most conference centres.
How does the sectioning of Strawberry Fields work?
Strawberry Fields can be divided into up to five soundproofed sections using moveable walls. This enables parallel programmes – for example a conference in one section and dinner preparation in another simultaneously, or building the party while the conference is still running. We have extensive experience designing events that make optimal use of all five sections.
What technology is already in the venue and what needs to be hired in?
Strawberry Fields has approximately 50 LED fixtures in the ceiling and projectors and projection screens in each section. O2 has existing front lighting and projectors. For most events we supplement with a line-array PA system, stage lighting, wireless microphones and a video mixer – but the existing technology is a good and cost-saving foundation to build on.
Can a TV broadcast or live stream be produced from Strawberry Fields or O2?
Yes, we have produced live broadcasts from both venues – including Expressen's Party Leaders' Debate 2022 from Strawberry Fields and the Allsvenskan Grand Prix from O2. We handle the complete broadcast chain: studio set design, cameras, video mixer, encoder and streaming to any platform.
What were Studio Ett and Studio Flex and can a similar setup be done today?
Studio Ett and Studio Flex were two permanent broadcast studios we established in Strawberry Fields during the Covid-19 pandemic 2020–2022, from which we produced over 150 digital broadcasts. Studio setups of the same quality can be built for individual events or longer production runs – we have the equipment, experience and venue knowledge to do it.
How long does it take to build an event at Strawberry Fields?
For a typical executive meeting or conference with a stage and décor, one build day is usually sufficient. More complex productions with suspended ceilings, bespoke set design and studio environments take 2–3 days. We have detailed venue knowledge and always optimise the load-in and load-out flow to keep build time short.

How do you get to Quality Hotel™ Strawberry Arena?
The hotel and venues are in Solna, next to Mall of Scandinavia and Strawberry Arena. By commuter train it is approximately 7 minutes from Stockholm Central Station. By car it takes about 10 minutes from central Stockholm. Arlanda Airport is about 30 minutes by car or commuter train.
