ICA-Retailers' Day 2019

Each year, the ICA-Retailers federation brings together members for ICA-Retailers' Day – a full day of conference, general assembly, dinner, party and networking. In 2019, we were entrusted by PS Occasion to deliver design and a complete technical solution for the event at Avicii Arena.

Our solution consisted of a two-part floor at Avicii Arena with an exhibition and networking area on one side and a conference and party stage on the other. The networking area featured bars, lounges and environments for mingling. The stage side was equipped with six projected display surfaces, a lighting rig with around fifty moving fixtures and audio technology for the conference and live artists including Eric Gadd, Jill Johnsson, Linda Bengtzing and Arvingarna.

In addition to the setup at Avicii Arena, we also delivered a complete rig in the Annex – general assembly during the day, then converted to a nightclub for the evening.

Our delivery

For this project we delivered:

  • Sound

    Complete audio solutions with PA, audio mixing, wireless microphones, live band equipment and DJ equipment for both the conference and party at Avicii Arena and the general assembly and nightclub in the Annex. Read more about sound

    Rigging across all areas of Avicii Arena, ambient lighting throughout the arena, lounge lighting and stage lighting with over 50 moving fixtures. In the Annex, lighting for both the general assembly and the nightclub. Read more about light

  • Video & LED

    Complete video solutions for Avicii Arena and the Annex. At Avicii Arena, six projected display surfaces synchronised with the jumbotron. In the Annex, a more conventional setup with three screen surfaces side by side.   • Decor & Set Design

    Stage decking, room draping with fabric, carpeting, furniture for lounges and stage, plus themed decor to create the right atmosphere on site. Read more about decor & set design

  • Carpentry

    Bars and bar back walls, pallet furniture and standing tables, plus the ICA-Retailers' Day sign – first filled with fruit and vegetables, then converted with string lights for the nightclub. Read more about carpentry

  • Print

    Vinyl wraps on bar counters and walls to give the illusion of tile and marble instead of wood and aluminium, plus vinyl wraps and branding for entrances and surrounding areas. Read more about print
