Music Publishers' Award 2023
In November 2023, we made a return visit to Artipelag, where, on behalf of PS Occasion, we delivered a comprehensive solution with design and technology for Music Publishers' Award 2023. The gala is the industry organization Music Publishers' own award gala, which was established in 2003 and celebrated its 20th anniversary this year!Our solution in the Artbox at Artipelag was a rather technology-oriented one with a 10x4m high-resolution LED screen on the stage that continued up with three more LED bars in the stage ceiling. Between the LED bars we hung 30 Magic Panels from Ayrton which we ran pixel mapped in sync with the LED screen via a media server – Cool!
On stage, in addition to the award presenters and winners, the sound department also took care of artists such as Jelassi, Cleo, Yaeger, Peg Parnevik and Lasse Holm. All accompanied by the fantastic band Damn!

Our delivery
To this project we delivered:SoundThe sound department delivered a sound system adapted for live music and entertainment in the Artboxen at Artipelag. They also supplied sound mixing, monitor mixing, wireless microphones for speakers and award presenters, and tape technology for the artists Jelassi, Cleo, Yaeger, Peg Parnevik, Lasse Holm and Damn.
LightThe lighting department built a lighting rig with Ayrton Magic Panel 602, Clay Paky K20, Clay Paky Sharpy Plus and GLP JDC-1. The lights were rigged in trusses over the stage, on the sides of the stage and on the stage itself. The entire lighting rig was controlled via a Grand MA 3 lighting desk that received pixel mapping from a Watchout media server.
VideoThe Video department delivered a high-resolution LED screen behind the stage measuring 10x4m, which continued up into the stage ceiling with three additional rows of the same screen. The Video department also delivered a camera production, IMAG screens and a video control system with a Watchout media server.
DecorThe decoration department delivered a 10x4m podium stage and catwalk with high-gloss black carpet, as well as several smaller stages for DJs in adjacent venues.
Project ManagementPrior to delivery and once on site, the delivery and construction were coordinated by our project manager Andreas Weis.
