Main stage, afterparty stage and a festival setting – three platforms on one rig
In September we had the pleasure of delivering YouTube Festival 2025 at Fållan on 18 September, together with Utsikt Kommunikation — a fun gig with a true festival vibe in a venue that fits the format perfectly. We delivered a complete design and technology solution. The main stage in Fållan was built around an 8 × 4 metre LED wall at 1.95 mm pixel pitch, framed by sixty-four of our in-house designed TriangLED fixtures which — offset in depth — created an effective on-brand framing of the stage.
In Lilla Fållan we built an afterparty stage with more LED, more audio, more light — a 3.5 × 3 metre LED wall with two 1 × 3 metre LED pillars and an LED front on the DJ podium itself — keeping the party going all the way.
Outside, the area was given a festival setting through fifty square metres of printed banner mounted on construction fencing, plus a red needle felt carpet as a signal from registration to entrance.
Together it became a solid platform for both presentations and artists such as Kaj, Felicia and Maskinen.
Thank you to Utsikt and YouTube for the trust, and to Fållan for a great on-site collaboration.

Our delivery
For this project we delivered:Sound
On the main stage we delivered a PA system with twelve wireless microphones plus FOH and monitor mix positions. As a backline complement for Kaj we patched in three in-ear systems and three wireless handheld microphones. During the show, the production was staffed by an audio technician and a mic technician.
The intercom solution covered seven wired and four wireless beltpacks with PGM audio.
In Lilla Fållan we complemented the venue's PA with a Pioneer Nexus 2 DJ rig, a booth monitor, four in-ear systems and four wireless microphones, with a dedicated audio technician through soundcheck and the show. For Maskinen's rider we added two Shure PSM1000 systems and two wireless microphones.
At the entrance we built a background music PA with iPad playback from Spotify and a mixer, and outside we raised a separate DJ rig with a Pioneer XDJ-XZ and booth monitor. Read more about soundLight
As the scenographic signature on the main stage we hung sixty-four of our in-house designed TriangLED fixtures in a configuration offset in depth — a lighting and set design move in one that framed the LED wall and gave the stage movement between the lighting states. The set design was complemented by an LED outline around the stage front, LED lighting in the stage steps and sixteen uplights mounted on the pillars around the stage.
In Lilla Fållan we built a separate lighting rig for the afterparty with six Hybrid fixtures as a floor kit, four LED strobes and an LED bar to light the DJ position.
At the entrance we hung a 4 × 2.5 metre truss portal with Astera tubes, complemented by an additional sixteen Astera tubes and AX3 fixtures lighting the cloakroom and the portal. Behind the entrance we hung a 3 × 2.5 metre truss frame with festoon lighting — a festival touch to the arrival experience.
At the outdoor photo wall, four IP65-rated LED floods were mounted on stands from the ceiling beam above the entrance. Read more about lightVideo & LED
The main stage was built around an 8 × 4 metre LED wall at 1.95 mm pixel pitch. The video mix ran from a large mix position with two D3 Solo media servers, a Roland V8 submix and dedicated computers for PowerPoint, VB and programme clock, complemented by a fibre multi system and two 49-inch DSM screens.
As a complement to the main stage we placed four 65-inch screens on stands as confidence monitors — during the re-rig between presentations and artist segments the same screens were moved to the game activity area for continued use.
The camera production was built as a four-camera solution with two PTZ robotic cameras and two manned cameras on wireless link, a video mixer with recording and RCP control, and full mix-position monitoring. The video feed was staffed by bing operator, PTZ operator and video producer, and was mixed and recorded live.
In Lilla Fållan we built a 3.5 × 3 metre LED wall, complemented by two 1 × 3 metre LED pillars and a 2 × 1 metre LED front mounted on a 30 cm milled kick in front of the DJ podium — playout via mixer and Resolume.
As an addition we also patched in a screen on a stand for the interpreter booth and rigged the client's own outdoor screen on a stand. Read more about video & ledPre-programming
Ahead of the show, a video technician staffed the content production to prepare graphics and playlists for the video mix. Read more about pre-programmingDecor & Set Design
On the main stage a black high-gloss stage carpet was laid across sixty square metres and a four-metre-wide stage staircase was built up to stage level.
In Lilla Fållan we built a 200 × 100 cm DJ stage podium at 100 cm height with a black high-gloss stage carpet, plus additional stage podiums for Maskinen's set-up.
At the entrance we laid an entrance carpet in a colour from our standard assortment of around 160 square metres, and two bison plinths were dressed in printed smartex to serve as registration desks.
At the photo wall we built a 3 × 2.5 metre wall system on wheels as a frame, surrounded outside by an eight-metre-long, two-metre-wide red needle felt carpet — with the caveat that the possibility of laying carpet outdoors can be limited by the current weather conditions.
At the Lilla Sportspegelvägg installation we built T-shaped legs and frames for printed 19 mm smartex panels with a cut-out detail.
For the popcorn service we produced two black bookcases in the same execution as in 2024. Read more about decor & set designCarpentry
The carpentry ran through all of the venue's spaces and the outdoor area. At the entrance we built joists for mounting print on the entrance portal and on the bison plinths serving as registration desks. Inside Lilla Fållan's DJ area we built a black LED kick of 2 × 0.3 metres in front of the DJ podium and black stage fronts for a cohesive front.
For the photo wall we built a 3 × 2.5 metre wall system on wheels, sized for moving between the spaces during the day. At the Lilla Sportspegelvägg installation we built T-shaped legs and frames for the printed smartex panels.
For the popcorn service we produced two black bookcases in the same execution as in previous years, and as an addition we built a printed panel for the entrance door. Read more about carpentryPrint
Print was a load-bearing part of the festival framing throughout the venue and outdoors.
At the entrance, a smartex panel of 4 × 0.6 metres was printed for the entrance portal and a printed smartex of 2400 × 1000 mm for the registration desks. Fifty square metres of printed banner were mounted on construction fencing outside — each section 2 metres tall and 3.45 metres wide — to frame the area with festival energy.
The photo wall was vinyl-wrapped with 7.5 square metres of print, and the Lilla Sportspegelvägg installation was delivered as a printed smartex panel of 2 × 2 metres with a cut-out detail in 19 mm.
Two capa signs were produced for the popcorn service in the same execution as in previous years, and a printed panel was mounted on the entrance door. Read more about printContent & Graphics
Ahead of the project we produced 3D renderings for the quote in multiple iterations plus separate concept development for the main stage in Fållan and the afterparty stage in Lilla Fållan. A video technician also staffed the content production ahead of the event. Read more about content & graphicsConcept & Visualisation
Ahead of production we produced 3D sketches in multiple iterations as the basis of the set design in Fållan and Lilla Fållan. Read more about concept & visualisationProject Management
