Festival Week 2023 at Mall of Scandinavia

In connection with Melodifestivalen 2023, we were commissioned by Eventum to design and deliver a solution for the Festival Week at Westfield Mall of Scandinavia.

The brief was to create a solution for the event area above the fountain – a space that needed to function both as a stage for competing Mello artists and as a visitor area with makeup stations, a lounge and poster making.

The solution combined technology and set design: an arched truss structure with LED screen and lighting as a backdrop, a multi-coloured stage deck on multiple levels doubling as makeup stations, and a lounge with a DJ stage and poster-making tables on the opposite side. Everything in Melodifestivalen's signature pastel colours.
